Ch. 29 Back Story, Big Reveals Here!
Something Big Happens Mid-Week of Our Mancation
I’m not going to spoil it here for you though; however, if you’ve stay this far with us, you definitely want to read this chapter! I’ll say this much, raised in an Italian Family, Rain 🌧 has always been thought of as a harbinger of Good Things to Come! So now you know I’m not raining bad news upon you!
Speaking of rain, the fucking sun came out too, and I got to share a place my Bro has never before visited. He’s native born Californian, but true to form, it takes a new resident Californian to show them the wonders of our beautiful State! Well, I was only a child when my parents moved here, so I consider myself a Native too!
I’ve been lucky enough to have seen most of California, and some places several times too! Big Sur is definitely a California Treasure, and not every visitor gets to see all there is, on a short day visit. I fixed that for Larry, he got to see something that blew his mind today. I guarantee he will never forget what he saw, and I’m sharing a few pictures with you. (No, these pictures are not from my camera, I’m not that good a photographer yet!)
Today is not over yet! I’m treating him to dinner at Nepenthe Restaurant, another must see stop for everyone visiting. Since it’s an easy access stop with lots of parking, they get a ton of visitors yearly! I’ll show you pictures on the next posting, just in case you’ve never been here, of course, if you’ve been here, it will bring back fond memories, I’m sure!
BTW, we were able to get the cell signals we needed at the Gas Station and Café as suggested, so it’s just a way from our campground, and we visit as often as we want.
Still lots of stuff we’d like to do here, so I might have to write about some of it at home, that’s okay, I’m taking very detailed notes! 🤓
